I a Classic 1 on the way from ebay and what mods do anyone know for this detector. Also the speaker don't work but headphones do.I am going to make a water detector out of it.Will keep all posted.

water detector from classic is bad idea. it is maybe good for dry sand beach places' hunting, but is un-useful for strong wet places.

Yes I agree on salt water but I will use this on small lakes and waters in the midwest.
I use my XL Pro and Prizm and have no problems.
But I can't fall in the water with them.We in the midwest don't have large lakes etc.
