whites classic 5 id coil choice

I bought one of these for a good price off of ebay, they were made for kellyco and use the prizm 8.1 frequency now I see some prizm coinmaster coils are at 8.1 and 8.3, what coils can I use?

Hi,
The Whites Classic series use the BlueMax type of coils - first time that I heard one using the Prizm style coils.
Maybe that´s why you were able to buy it for cheap - wrong coil put on it.

I have a Classic ID, sent it to a friend, and now it gets 11.5" on nickel, and 11" on a dime. Cost was 120.00 to get it tweeked.

the classic 4 and 5id were made for kellyco and use the prism coils. That's my problem , can it work with the prism and coinmaster coils? I bought a classic id and got the pots and resistors to mod it and then this 5id came up for $80 in great shape so I had to jump on it. I will mod that also.

The only coils that NEL Coils made for the whites machines were the prizem series. So for a better selection of coils you can look at the NEL coils for the ID5
