SWAMP HAWK

New member
swamp hawk here. just started beeping again about a month ago. iv been out a few times and this baby is still kicking out surprises! the machine was my dads . i started using it when i was 15. im 27 now. even though its been years i still pull cool stuff. just go's to show. no spot is ever hunted out and the old beepers still rock the socks out of this rock and clay filled pile we call IL: you dig?

You did very well with that oldie but goodie. The basic concept of detecting metal has been pretty much unchanged for 50 years. Sure the machines have advanced with more features and they go deeper now, but the older machines still work fine and do what they were designed to do.

That's a lot of cool finds. Thanks for the picture and post. Love to see what people pull out of this Illinois soil. HH, Nancy
