If the Dual Field is tuned for gold and copper, does that mean it won't perform as well on other metals/items like quarters, zinc, iron, etc?

It's a PI machine and there is never any doubt of a targets existence regardless of the kind of metal it is.

I have even found tiny bits of aluminum BB sized and staples from papers lost in the water I guess.

I can't offer you technological answers as to frequencies verses performance, but I know what works and am very pleased with my Dual Field,
