Whites shafts

I'm considering getting a straight shaft for my Dual Field PI. The only two I see being sold is one by Anderson, and the one being sold by Dixie-metal-detectors. Is anyone familiar with them, how good is either, the durability of the lock nut, comparison of the two, etc...?
Thanks.

The Anderson is the best there is. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. Purchase a hip mount conversion kit from White's that has the upper straight rod with the pistol grip and the middle S-rod. You can use your lower rod. I have mine set up this way and it works great. Very little fatigue. I'll try to get a picture posted later but for now here is a pic taken of me by the local newspaper showing the assembly.

Here's my BHID set up the same way. The middle S-rod with the 12" coil gives you a little better balance (in my opinion) than a regular straight shaft :

That's what White's calls a "hip Mount Conversion Kit" It consists of a straight upper rod with a pistol grip, an s-shape middle rod (just like on all the other machines MXT, DFX, etc.) and the regular lower rod.
