Here is my White's V3i up for sale. Like new mint condition. Used less than 10 hours. I bought a new V3i in September 2012. Sent it back to White's in November, for a checkup and they sent me a whole brand new unit in the box, not a refurb (thanks White's, you're awesome as always
). So this unit is actually newer than the Sep '12 purchase date would indicate. This new unit works fantastic, no issues at all, smooth, deep. I had this new unit out only twice back in November/December 2012 before winter set in. Both times I found silver in a heavily worked-out park near my home. First time a 1930's Washington Quarter and next a 1940's mercury dime. I used it only one more time for an afternoon last summer with my son at an old summer camp and found a practically uncirculated 1964 Roosevelt dime. So this detector has gone three for three finding silver in "worked-out" sites, and is a real pleasure to use.
I'm selling only because I've drifted away from the hobby the last couple years mostly due to different priorities with my family (outdoor sports, camping, scouting) and just haven't used this detector like I thought I would. This detector has ended up just sitting in my closet, and I figure now is a good time to sell it being the beginning of the detecting season AND while there is still lots of warranty time left. The transferable warranty is good until September 2014 (even though the detector is actually brand new from White's in November 2012, I assume it relates back to my original purchase date in Sep '12).
The detector is absolutely mint as-new condition. The three times it was used was with the White's control unit cover you see in the photo, in dry park-type environments. Has not been exposed to heat, cold, or humidity. The only thing that has ever been out of the box (except for these picture I took today) is the control unit itself. I used an extra rod and 6x10 coil and AA battery holder I had, so the D2 coil and rod assembly, NiMH battery back and charger, and hardware has never been used and is still sealed in the plastic. Even the owner's manual/DVD/warranty card is still sealed in the envelope. The unit has never been left in a car trunk, dropped, bumped, or has been stored anywhere other than in a padded carrying case inside a non-smoker climate controlled environment. This is as close as you can find to a brand new detector without actually buying new.
It comes with a new Bullseye II pinpointer, also never used, a D2 coil cover, and a White's main unit cover, as well as everything that originally came with the detector, box, packing materials etc.. I will transfer the warranty to the new owner with White's. Also included is the original sales receipt for $1,500 (which did NOT include any extras or accessories, but the purchase did allow me to get a special package deal for the Bullseye II pointer and an extra coil for only $100 extra), $1,600 total, from my local White's dealer here in Boise. Everything was purchased from a White's dealer and properly registered with White's in Sweet Home, serial number documented, proper password included, and all ready for a smooth transition to the new owner.
