Whites Surf PI Pro- is it worth purchasing?

I am looking at purchasing a Whites PI Pro to detect both fresh and salt water as well as the beaches. Any advise???? Thank you....

Hello outexploring,
The whites Pi is a very good underwater detector, it's great in both fresh and salt water.
However, Because the unit operates at 15 uS the unit will miss the smaller gold jewelry. Still, You'll enjoy the unit which does a great job of recovering coins and medium size gold jewelry under 10" inches in depth.
If you're looking to detect smaller size gold jewelry and needing more depth then the GQ or other PI's made by Eric Foster will surely fit that demand.
