General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

$450 shipped. New condition (shiny and no scratches). Includes approximately 17 months of transferable warranty; control unit has never been in submerged; original and intact shipping box; owner's manual; standard coil and cover (no scratches on either); coil locking bracket; arm strap; spare clevis washers, spare nylon bolt and nut, and spare tall-man's lower rod.
 
Standard coil? Is that the "Pro Submersible" or the "Zero Buoyancy" one? How does the coil handle at the Nearly submerged level?

Can the coils on this model be interchanged if someone wanted to purchase the other at a later date?
 
Hi,
The "standard coil" is the Zero Buoyancy one. The coil is no problem at the nearly submersible level. To submerse, a more downward force is required. The installable attachment bracket thats included, prevents the coil from moving when submersing it. The coil is hard wired but can be replaced with the Pro Submersible one at the factory. The last word I got from Whites Electronics is they would replace it (and keep the removed coil) for $35 plus shipping.

Thanks for the info. Frankly, I was hoping it had the other coil, but $35 and shipping is not too unreasonable. If I have to pay to upgrade the coil, it puts me quite a bit above the alloted Christmas budget which Santa told my wife I could spend (hehheh), but I'm getting itchy for my first ever beach machine.
A couple more questions please:
Does this include the stock underwater headphones? Condition?
Is there a Whites carrying bag or case included?
Have you got a PayPal account for instant receipt on payments?

Hi,
Yes stock submersible head phones are included. It is hard wired also and in new condition as well. Sorry I don't have a bag nor case for the detector. Yes I do have PayPal but avoid using it, unless you are willing to pay the additional fee that they would charge me. I would have to check what that would be. Otherwise, a money order would work but may be too slow. I am leaving my area from 24 Dec to 01 Jan, so if you are interested we would have to expedite the transaction, as I would also have to contact Whites Electronics to have the warranty transferred to you. So, the quickest way it would work is for you transfer the detector cost plus fee to my PayPal account, I next contact Whites for the Warranty transfer, then I send the detector to you with the warranty identification information. Let me know aarchie. It is a very good deal you would be getting. I have 5 detectors, a whole lot more that I thought I'd be able to use. I guess everyone goes through this.Thanks again.
