I will be detecting with a group the end of March along Lee's last retreat from Petersburg, VA to Appomattox Courthouse. Looking for someone with experience detecting this area with a V3I and the setting you found worked best.

You might have more luck putting this on the metal detecting forum. There is no longer a forum dedicated to Whites machines since they quit sponsoring their forum. Good luck sounds like it might be a great place to find some relics.
