White's XLT in Fredericksburg Area

Hi! I've been metal detecting on and off since I was a kid, and I've started up again in the past few months, hitting up the South Stafford area of Fredericksburg, Virginia. I've pulled about 40 bullets the past couple weekends (yankee 3-ringers of various sorts) and a bunch of junk and I do get somewhat of a noisy racket on my XLT, likely due to mineralized soil and just not knowing how to finely tune my machine. Point being, I've begun to experiment with the settings and was wondering if anyone out there may have any special programs they use/used in this area on the XLT. And also, if there's anyone out there in the area that likes to go in evenings/on the weekends to any different sites, shoot me an email at moncureww@hotmail.com. Later!
