Salida

If you live in Texas you might find this interesting
about an underwater town now showing up as lake recedes.

Could be a great place to metal detect. I heard about it
early this morning on NPR Radio.

Anyone ever been there?

Dude, just Google "Bluffton, Texas"

Thanks for the link Salida. Interesting stuff. I've known about it for many years, but never took occasion to visit. Even years ago when it was 20 or 30 feet underwater, I thought about diving it, but never did. I'm really not sure about whether or not it's okay to metal detect that particular area now, but there are lots of lakes in Texas that are open to metal detecting.

Happy Hunting!:)
