Who Knows This Ring

Waterman

Member
A friend found this ring while detecting here in Alberta and we are curious about the history behind the ring. Is is Roman, Christian or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Waterman
Very nice ring.
Its christian, it means Pax Christi, you can see the P and the X.
Its markt from the inside, so it cant be that old, anything between 1800 and now.
The marking pax christi is very old, some roman ceasars used it on the reverse side off coins.
