Most of the gold I find just needs a polish. Unless it's been down for a long time. Then I use the same method as silver
Silver - The method I learned from the forum.
9 - 15 volt trasformer, baking soda, stainless steel spoon and cold water for five minutes.
Then use a old soft toothbrush with bakingsoda to further remove any buildup.
Wrights Silver Cream for final polish.

I gave up counting a long time ago, there's no way to keep up with what your finding. That is one neat Claddagh Ring you found. I think that's the first one in gold I have ever seen posted. Neat!!!!!!!!!
For some reason I thought you were taking a little time off. All said and done nice finds again.
