Why is there no Minelab Gold Machines Forum?

Don't mean to hijack the present thread. But, this seems to be the most likely forum to ask this question. There are thousands, maybe tens of thousands of Minelab gold machine users around the world. Why is there no Minelab Gold Machines Forum at Find's? There is a Fisher Gold Bug/Teknetics G2 (what ever that is) forum! Seems a natural for a Classrooms Forum too! What does it take to get one added ???

bobiaus,

Sure, there's several Minelab forums out there, as well as Whites. Fisher, Tesoro etc etc. The point is there is no Minelab 'Gold Machines Forum" on the Findmall website. Or Classroom, for that matter. I think Find's is the perfect format for such a forum. It has a very large national and international membership. And I think it would be very successful. Nuggethunters who buy new machines spent upwards of $5,000 to $6,000 per machine. Not to mention the additional $1000 or $2000 expense of accessories, plus, off-road vehicles in some cases, RV'S, survival gear and so on. The last COIL I bought for my Minelab gold machine for example cost over $500.00 More than some detectors at this website that have their own forums! The point is "nugget hunters" are as passionate about metal detecting as anyone else, or maybe even more so considering the expense involved. Like myself, they not only want to learn, but share too. These machines are cutting edge detector technology and a Classroom Forum that does not have the distraction of all the PI's ever made like the present PI Classroom would be in my opinion a great place to learn and exchange information. Many nugget hunters hunt full time and take information learned by whatever means very serious. My hope is that the powers that be recognize this need and do something about it.

The reason that there is no deadicated forum for that is because nearly all gold prospecting involves Minelab, you can try the minelab owners forum
but i did'nt see much there on the prospecting side of thing but there are alot of other places too
