Why no DD Coils?

Just curious why Fisher doesn't offer a DD Coil as an option ,seems to me that a lot of folks would buy them ,if they performed well or perhaps i answered my own question. Any opinions HH Bill.

Good question Bill. Kinda makes one wonder why Sunray stuck with a concentric design when they developed the 12.5" for the CZ's seeing as how they are famous for their DD coils. Perhaps there is something about them that makes it difficult to get a DD coil to work well??

Hey Tom, yeah i was thinking on similar lines that perhaps the way fisher GB's their machines or something in the electronics doesn't make a DD compatible. Thanks for the reply.HH Bill
