I think people truly underestimate the power of buying American made products. It should be taught in high schools as a basic principle. It should be treated with far more regard by our government. But thats another subject.

It is not so much the American thing to me. I mean several MD companies are USA made. I buy it because It does what it says it will and the $$ is right. Before the Outlaw came Out I was looking Across the pond so to speak.

I think I will save $200.00 at least on the Outlaw. Yes I am gonna get one. I kinda like the Warranty and the ease of use. I am in fact looking forward to it, Beale.

NEWS FLASH where all from the same planet and where all humans, besides MOST people who say "Buy American" are Union Workers who want to get paid $5000000000000000000000 a hour to push a button and take a break every ten minutes...pfft I'll buy more American when they start firing lazy fat guys being over paid jacking up the prices of everything.

OOh and Google see during WW2 Detriot Union workers went on strike in January 1942 because they did not want to switch from making Auto Parts to Weapons to fight a freaking war to protect there freedom....yeah real american there, I will just say those clowns deserved 1 cig and a blindfold.

I do see the OP's point of the lazy union worker and it is a problem in this country but that does not mean every union worker or union should be colored this way. Let's keep our money and jobs over here so everyone, please buy American when possible! Thanks.

well said, to think all union workers are lazy is just plain crazy and disrespectful to alot of great people in this country. union or not, tesoro is a great company.

I am anxious to see more information on the Outlaw on Tesoros website, its not quite there yet...? Hopefully more of the info gets out there for all to see.

Buy American made products YES, support American Jobs YES, but if you think shop floor workers are getting the big bucks in American manufacturing these days,... WRONG. Look at the CEO and Board of Directors at various Large American Corporations. Those girls and boys get the big money, and still ship jobs overseas. I am still employeed but my pay seems to be decreasing each year with all other prices rising.

I think I'll try one my first detector was a silver umax and I had lots of fun with it but sold it thinking I needed all the bells and whistles. I miss the simplicity and quality fun I had with my tesoro, and from all the great stuff I've read about the bandido II this should be a great detector. It's a heck of a deal with the 3 coils for those of us that don't already have them.

It looks like a real bargain, with coils. But I have heard good things about the tejon. Like great depth on coins and the higher frequency helping with small gold.I could see it adding more to my detector arsenal.

This matches my sentiments exactly. I sold my Silver uMax last night and will evaluate the outlaw once we get some more user feedback. Only problem for me is that I have an arsenal of coils for the uMax series already. 5.75" would be a duplicate and I already have a 12X10 Concentric. Good news is that both are faily popular and will sell quickly. Hope we get some news soon. Thought dealers would have this week and be selling/shipping them this week.
