I have to tell this story on a friend of mine,but i wont mention any names!
This guy that is in a coin club,has a bounty hunter metal detector,so i talk him into going metal detecting with me one day.
Ok,were detecting,has been for about two hours in a local park.
(Cross my heart this is a true story!)
I look for my friend to see where he is at,well the sight just can't be described.
Hes kinda balled up,feet on the ground,red in the face,and hes banging his head on the ground.
I hear him coughing,and i start heading his direction,realizing something isn't right.
Just as i get there,he coughs up a ball bearing about 3/4 inch in diameter.
He tells me he put it in his mouth,and almost swallowed it,it got hung on his adams apple,and from the weight of it,
he decides he can't cough it up,and it needs jarred loose,hence beating his head on the ground! while mostly upside down.
Reminder,This is in a public park,and people are looking at him like they don't know whether to help,or run!
My question to him was,(Why) would a 52 year old man put a Ball Bearing in his mouth.
He says ,I don't know.
Anyway he was allright,we just left the park and went to a soccer field,
I told him if he saw a soccer Ball to stay away from it,He just laughed.
