I think our wife deserve some credit . My wife has to put up with me all the time , that alone makes her a good person. I have such a wonderful wife and I am sure alot of you do , but we do not talk about them as much as we should. My wife is my best friend i always want to be with her . She is a great cook and great mother of our soon to be 4 year old daughter. Even when she does not want me to go she never says anything about me going detecting , she knows how much I enjoy it. I hope someday I can find something worth lots of money and she will want me to go detecting more.:crazy: I really have enjoyed these first 10 years of our marriage. No they was not all perfect days but we worked together through them. And through those times we have grown closer. In marriage you have to give a little and take a little. So many folks these days just want to take and they do not last. I know without a doubt that when I am an old man she will be an old woman right beside me holding my hand. I love her more today than I did way back then. God chose her for me and me for her.
She listens to me constantly taking about detecting and nevr complains enen when I have drove by a house a 100 times and said I want to detect that house everytime. She never says youy dummy you said that a 100 times , she keeps it to herself.:bouncy: She does like riding the four wheeler with me though, someday I will teach her how to go through 3 foot deep mud.:rofl: I thank GOD for her and my family everyday .
How many of yall have a good wife or husband ? I like seeing spouses together and enjoying each others company.

We have been married 23 year and have one son who will be 21 this year. I also married my best friend and we have something we say to each other often. it goes like this
" I love you more today then yesterday" Nice saying but true! our love grows more each day. I have been blessed!!

Nice pics and posts of happy marriages....Congrats....mine lasted for almost 33 years and then BOOM....everything fell apart and I learned more about my ex than I ever wanted to know! :cry: But I've come along ways in the Lord without him and I praise God for getting my attention and Thank, Jesus, for His mercy and grace in changing me for the better! Not yet...where I should be.....but a long way from where I was! May God Bless you all with many more years of wedded bliss...it shouldn't be all one-sided for sure!! When God is the Head of the home, it has to be more blessed and running smoother for everyone! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty

God brought us together and God keeps us together. We will have been married 11 years come January 8, 2010. I thank God every day for her. We do almost everything together. Some things I like to do I know she does not like all that well, but she goes along anyway. She is very caring and will do anything for you. Always putting herself last.

Hello Martin! I believe the reason neither of us has never remarried is because we can serve God better without a spouse as Paul says in 1 CO 7,33! Also, with our immune systems not the way they should be, we probably couldn't keep up with them, unless they too had illnesses and know what we know concerning weaknesses of the body! I never found anyone that I would want to marry and prefer to be by myself and not go through a bad marriage again! I didn't ask God to help me the first time and now He is my Father, Savior and Husband helping me to keep the faith and serve Him faithfully, which I couldn't do very well if I had a mortal husband and maybe others to take care of and do for when I feel weak and unable to do so at times.....even when I was caring for my brother, Cliif, for he understood and didn't complain when I wasn't able to do things as I should have many times! You are married to Christ and will be His Bride also at the Wedding Banquet of God's saints! Amen! :angel: Betty
