Will a bigger coil drain the batteries faster?

Just curious. I think I've got a line on a 12.5" coil for my friends GTAx750.. After I give it back to him I figure I can resell the coil and get some of my money back. I found it here on the accessories forum.

Nope. The best way to conserve batteries is use headphones.

No. The biggest drain on batteries is the speaker if you don't use headphones.

no a bigger coil should`nt make any difference to battery life but as others have pointed out using the speaker rather than headfones will drain them faster
