well its hard to believe that up in maine the weather is going to be 50 degree's tomorrow and taking advantage of it and probably will be last hunt before the real deep freeze will have a vid camera also just permission for new ground to hunt 3 old home steads that were settled in the 1850's so there is bound to be some good stuff the owner had shown me a lot of old broken glass and sorts so hoping for some nice silver or maybe a first gold coin would be nice LOL............will have pics and vids tomorrow!

may you prevail, nice thing this Global warming ,

well I'm sorry to say but things weren't very good today no pics or vid my camera battery crapped out and well no great finds either so it was a bust sorry for the let down:thumbdown:

Don't feel bad, had plans to get out this weekend. Plans got dashed.

I got out today with the Vista Gold , and i can say this - its hard to fool this machine, every time i got a high low it was junk , and if it was a straight high tone it was a pull tab or coin , I got one signal that was high with a low on the edge and i called it as a bottle cap and from about 6" up came a rust bottle cap. lot of fun using the vista Gold i like knowing what is in the ground and yet leaving a little surprise to boot . if you know what i am saying . i also took it to a pile of pea gravel loaded with granite & basalt and hit a high tone and out poped a brass button all other sound where low and all Iron. little different from the tesoro machine. I keep doubting it and digging and sure it is right .
