Will this older compass coil fit on the scanner series?

Hello Eric,

Yes, The nugget/probe coil will work on the Scanner series.

I have one identical to the one in your picture, They will work on your detector and I've included another picture of other Compass coils that will also work on the Scanner series.

This next paragraph is not related to the coil question but related to another question you had further down below on boosting the Scanner series sens.....

Don't worry about boosting up the sensitivity on your Scanner, Keith Wills can boost the sens up a bit and it does increase depth but in some cases some ground will not allow the extra sensitivity depending on the area you live...Just a thought and the extra boost may work for your area but in some cases the extra sensitivity isn't necessary....With the stock setup just crank up the sens, That should be plenty enough.....What you're looking for is sepration in areas full of iron which the Scanner series do well so too much sens will do no good, But extra depth is good too out in the cleaner areas :)

Eric,

If you need an owners manual for the GoldScanner Pro I can make a copy and send it to you, Let me know if you need one?

Paul,

thank you so much for all your information and efforts. paul, i got already the manual but thanks for offering.
You are one of the good guys:beers:

Kind regards, Eric.

Your so Welcome!

What ever you do never sell off your GoldScanner Pro! You'll regret it as many that do eventually sell off theirs kick themselves repeatedly.

Try getting the thin-line 6.5" inch coil, That's all the coil you'll ever need with the GoldScanner. Makes the unit so much lighter and less fatigue on the arm, And it gets equal or almost the same depth as the 8" coil.
