I have a big ol' melon head and many headphones prove to be too small. So when I bought, I got the WS-4 backphones. Well, apparently my head is big around the back too cause they just barely fit and become really annoying after about an hour or two.

If I buy the wireless adapter, snap it on the control module from my backphones, then plug in my Auvio wireless headphone transmitter and put it in my pocket, would I still have the same functionality as with the Deus WS-5 headphones?

Also, is the control module detachable from the WS-5 headphones?
 
The control is built into the WS-5 and not removable. The WS-4 adapter has a 1/8 plug so you will need a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter in most cases.
