Will X-705 find small gold nuggets? Handle hot grnd?

Will the X-705 find small, 1 or 2 grain to 10 grain nuggets, with the 18.75Khz prospecting coil? I'm looking for an all around detector that can prospect and small targets are important.

How does the X-705 handle hot ground? Do you have to decrease the gain very much?

A quick summary of the 6 posts by digger.
1, By Barnacle Bill. Very detailed, worth reading the whole post! 1/40th of a gram found=0.385 of a grain, with 18.75 DD coil. As small as that reported by White's MXT. 0.5 gram=7.71 grains found at 3 inches. And 0.7 gram=10.8 grains at 4". Found 5 grams at 6".
2. and 3. appear to be the same pictures. Neilo, 4 tiny bits, total=0.2grams=3.1 grains. Smallest at 2".
4. Mike C. Found 3 grains at 3 to 4". 1 dwt (24 grains) at 6-7" down in hot ground.
5. Ioki. 1/40th of a gram (0.385 of a grain) by BT.
6. Hot Oregon ground 7.5 Khz coil best all around performace, us 18.75 DD for nuggets.
