Windy morning woods hunt!:teknetics:

Had a cold front pass through the area early this morning dropping a little rain and giving us some very windy conditions for the day. After breakfast out with the Mrs I began to see some patches of blue sky so grabbed the Omega with the 10" coil still intact from a previous hunt with it and headed off to the woodlands. Hunted about 2 1/2 hours and in total managed 15 coins including a 51d Rosie, a 45 wheat cent and 2 no cash value tokens. Among the coin digs, I also dug a broken sterling marked ring that appears had some sort of a mount on it, a mini and a button with an eagle on it. There is some writing on the back, but will need a little more work to determine what the words are. 99 sen, disc 1 and d2 tones. Merry Christmas everyone. HH jim tn

Nice work! I was up early watching the radar and wondering if you were getting out after it swept past your area...good to see you did! Nice finds! Silver again! :clapping:

Elton, I think your right about that. Jims a Northern boy who happens to live down south, so really nothing SHOULD stop him weather wise..He dont whine much about the heat or cold I've noticed, or anything else for that matter... However, if a certain pulltab Pirate poked a potato in his tail pipe some frosty morn at the park, we might hear a little emotion out of the guy!

No, no, all is cool with the pulltab pirate. He dug 227 targets today out in gale force winds on the open spaces of a soccer field and is now back in his element. Anyway, he has a nicer and bigger SUV then me and I carry a bigger potato. Merry Christmas. HH jim tn
