Winter hunting question

Hi All. I have a question on winter hunting and the Quattro. I live in Illinois and I mainly hunt up in Wisconsin on my uncle's farm. There are a couple old home sites on his land and one is near some woods. I have always heard that it is possible to hunt in the Winter time, as long as you can get down into the ground. Well with the mild (knock-on-wood) Winter we've had so far in my area,(it's been in the mid 30's to mid 40's), I've been itching to get out and do some hunting up on the farm. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or strategies they could share about hunting in the Winter? And also about protecting the Quattro from any possible damage? Thank-you. HH. Sincerely, Randy
