I was wondering...what is on everyones wishlist for the year?

My goals for the year are: find at least one silver coin per month, find a silver rosie, a war nickel, anything seated, any half or silver dollar, a V nickel, and a Standing Liberty Quarter is at the very top of the list.

I've already knocked a gold ring off the list, a CW eagle button, a thimble, and I've found 2 silver coins, so I'm ahead of my goal for silvers so far.

Anyone else have a wishlist for the year?

Yeah, I guess I left a gold coin off the list, I was trying to shoot for something within reason, but I guess it couldn't hurt to throw a pipe dream in there. I think if you found a jar full it might bring the value of them down a wee bit, but I still think you'd come out ok selling them :) A cache of any kind would be cool really!

I see you both are shooting for the Stars; I'm just hopeful for my 1st half dollar in 4 years of hunting...

Best of luck/Cliff

Hey, the only coin I have found made of a precious metal was a late 1950s Canadian dime last spring. I would go ape over finding any silver US coin.

Right Now any Coins been out 5 times already and No Coins !! Found everything from a intact mason jar with the lid to a dick tracy cap gun to a silver spoon but no Coins - Oh yeah and lots of Amuminum :goodnight:

I find a lot of unfired ammunition, 22lr, 22mag, 9mm etc. but no old coins, except for an Indian head nickel with the date corroded off.

I've tried old areas but it seems that here in the Pacific NW, with all the rain, that items seem to sink very fast into the ground. If there is old stuff out there, it must be about 30" deep by now.
