Had a thought. Start a Christmas wish list for anything detecting related even if out in left field. Also any resolutions regarding the sport and doings or not doings. Maybe limit three things per subject and keep it clean.
For me would be a detector that actually put gold in a category that says gold on the screen, period, or at least a dedicated tone. Second would be a handheld meter that gives you a better idea of the iron readings for an area without having to start up and walk with the detector. Could give one an idea if you really want to spend time there. And lastly, more clothing designed for detectorists specifically (maybe more brand name displays) and accessories.
Resolutions: Get out more. Secondly, get off my butt and research the history of the property instead of blindly hoping for something. Lastly, stop keeping everything I find (not caps and tabs).....
