Living under the supposed curse of God and feeling that her life had no real value must have been hard enough for Hannah. What added problem did she have? 1 Sam. 1:6, 7.
1 Samuel 1:6-7 "And because the LORD had closed her womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. 7 This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the LORD, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat."
