Hit a spot with many penny signals. I dug penny after penny. After a few minutes I took the headphones off put the detector down and used the pin pointer to retrieve the pennies. Recovered 42 pennies in a 3'X3' area. Just popped them out, less than an inch down. Kind of disappointed that I didn't get a 100 out of there.
You just never know what kind of hunt you will have. It was a great hunt. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Trails....Z

Regarding your question about the extended rod on the F70 being heavy, well, yes, at first it felt a little front heavy, but once a fellow gets it moving in a comfortable steady arc, its not bad at all...for gentle work in the totlots where a fellow cannot get a long swing due to all the gear in the way, it is more cumbersome than the shorter shaft, with the exception of being able to reach under some of the play equipment a lot furthur than before...plus, a guy can easily shorten it up if he wants to go slow and gentle, or extend it out and sweep the mains clean.
