Wondering is the 8inch minelab fbs coil any good for the safari quattro?

Well i just ordered a used minelab 8inch fbs coil for the quattro hoping its lighter and more acurate than the stock coil any ideas?
 
Yes..It's very good in trashy areas...Big difference from the 11" coil
 
I've had my Safari since early March and later bought the 8" coil for the Safari. It is heavy and folds under when I put the detector down, but I adapted a coil stabilizer from one of my green machines. I've got a wide grass strip in an old area to search tomorrow and will use the 8" coil since I can anticipate lots of metallic scrap.
