Woo Hoo - Struck Gold...

Took advantage of the sunny day and hit a school playground. Was a bit nervous when kids walk around carrying sticks (for clubs). Several were interested in what I was doing so told them to go away and leave me alone - gave them the old W. C. Fileds line "Go away kids. Your mother wants ya".

No I didn't do that - had ya going didn't I hahahaha.
Here's today's fine haul that includes a 14K gold wedding band - that for some unknow reason perfectly fits the wife's ring finger. Will have to check with the school next week to see if a teacher might have lost it.

Nice haul, and congrats on the gold! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

and for getting to detect now! I have found very little the few times I've been out and now I remember why I quit going and only went out 8 times last year. The parks, playgrounds and etc. are all hunted out around here and the only place I can find them is when I hunt my special place, a private school and church. If I go too often to it, it doesn't yield much and I have to wait for more coins to be lost! Unless I could get out real early before a certain old man and others do, I might find something in the playgrounds, but I cannot get out early any more, so I don't find coins and goodies like I used to do!
Glad you are getting the goodies though and the gold, as you've waited a long time for winter to get over with and the ground to thaw!
Keep on, keepin' on,
God Bless!
Betty

I would ask, but keep the ring till someone can ID it. If you show it, it'll be ID'd real quick! Looks a little thick to be a woman's ring, nice find!
