Two years ago when I found out I had diabetes the first thing my doctor ask me was does diabetes run in your family, I said my Mother passed away from type one diabetes. She said if you don't lose weight Ray you are going to have problems also.
At the time I weighed in at 228 pounds
I lost a ton of weight but hit a wall, couldn't get pass the high 170's, finally steadying out at a weight of 179 to 183 range
Well I tried another diet and today I weighed in at 164 fresh out of the shower this morning, been a long time since Ray has been in the 160's, think about that, from 228 to 164, 64 pounds lost
Can I hold this weight, probably not but at least I know with hard work I can get there and stay close, after all, my life depends on it and keeping diabetes at bay
