Well today I went hunting at a new park for a couple of hours. I know there is history in this park so I was hoping for silver coins. No such luck on the silver coins. But I was able to find my best find so far since I started Detecting.
I got a weird bouncy signal on the Etrac in TTF of 12-21 to 12-26 and it had 2 different tones to it when I moved it. I just assumed it was another pop tab and so I started to pass it by. Then something told me to dig it. So I popped the plug and about 6 inches down this beauty was looking at me.
Its a 10k 1971 womens class ring. I am unsure of if its from this area or not. As much as I would like to keep it im going to try hard to see if I can hunt the owner down and give her her ring back. I can only imagine a 59 year old lady who lost her ring when she was 16 getting her ring back. It kind of excites me and I hope I can hunt her down. If I cant well then I got my best and most valuable ring to date. (no idea what the melt value would be?) But I know its the right thing to do to try and find her.
Thanks Jordan

Very Exciting

Major Congrats

Did you check out that yesterday I found my first gold ring and it was a man's class ring from 1933

Unfortunately, he would be 95 years old if i could find him

Good luck and Good going!
