working in the woods

Been in the woods working a new cellar hole. These are my finds from 3 trips using the ATPRO with a 5x8 coil. The coolest find to me so far is the William Barton bell with the stamped initials and the file markings. The Indian is a 1893. Large Cents are a 1849 Matron Head and my first Classic Head 1810. The lead pencil with the hole was one of the first things found along with the buckle. The spoon is stamped sterling but doesn't seem it. Never get disappointed if you come up empty your first time out at new site.

Nice mix of interesting finds! Cool that you broke the 200 year mark & I haven't seen that style of pencil before. Congrats!

Very jealous of your super finds. Great spot you have there!

Great recoveries...That would have made my month!...Maybe Year right there!

Dutch,

Great finds! The bell is a rare find as well as the pencil. Congratulations....! Cellar holes can be a challenge with trash and iron but well worth the many repeat visits and approaches. I learn something new about the AT Pro almost every hunt. It is the most enjoyable machine I have used since I started detecting.
