Working on a Tribe

Haven't been able to come up with any silver coins the last few hunts, but have been getting a few Indian Heads in the form of cents and nickels. Got 2 of the IH cents this morning and after a bit of tooth brush scrubbing on yesterdays (wheats), 1 turned out to be a cruddy IH. Also got the 1930 Buffalo yesterday along with 1 of the round balls and the other round ball and no date buffalo came this morning. Also got the small, broken sterling ring this morning. The IH cents have been coming in right around 67-69. 6" is about the deepest on any of these. For anyone interested, the round balls have a touch of broken audio and are bouncing around some in the mid 80's. The deeper, the more they and the 69 caliber bullets seem to bounce. We got some rain over the last twenty four hours, but past 4" or so our dirt is about rock solid. LTD, 11" coil, BP mode, 0 disc, sen 90 and 4h tones. Have a good one everyone. HH jim tn

Glad to hear your getting a little rain, maybe it will work its way down deeper for you. Nice finds..I have never found an indian penny yet, and only 4 buffs...the only bullets we find up here are 9mms Ha!
