Working the grove!!

After a nice breakfast of waffles and ham at a local restaurant, Skillet and I headed for the pecan grove. Yesterdays rain left us with some really soggy ground and a bit on the cool side, but 'a'tectin we did go. The grove was a bit on the rough side with a lot of junk targets. We were both using our 1500's though and the imaging really helped. After about 2 1/2 hrs in the grove we each had only a few modern coins with the exception of this '28 wheat recovered by Skillet. But we had a good time, anyway, silver or no silver. I had to leave around noon and Skillet was headed for the soccer fields to try for some battery money.

A good day out anyway boys,
I reckon that the worst day detecting is still better than the best day workin'...
