Hello guys i was wondering is the wot coil as deep as 3 khz coil, ive heard wonderfull things of WOT coil.

Thanks!!!!!!

If you check out the TreasureTalk blogs on Minelab's website, you'll find two that I wrote when I field tested the WOT. Basically, it depends on the soil matrix and the target. DD coils will detect deeper than a comparibly sized concentric in highly mineralized soil. Concentrics have the edge on depth with comparibly sized coils in moderate soil conditions. Naturally, larger coils will typically detect larger targets at a greater distance than smaller coils of the same design, shape and frequency. Conversely, larger coils are generally not as sensitive to smaller targets as smaller coils might be. With all settings being equal (other than Noise Cancel channel), I found the Coiltek 15-inch Double-D ALL TERRAIN Coil at 7.5 kHz provided a target response averaging 25
