G'day :ausflag: and Merry Christmas.

Its the day after Christmas day down here.
I haven't been active on your great forum here for about 2-3 mths as I am starting up a new business and am time poor.
But I do try and get out m.d. once or twice a week for 3 hrs or so.

I had a good week the week before Christmas , on the Thursday I found a 4.5 gram 9k yellow gold ring
3 days later on the Sunday morning I was out huntin with my pal Max and I scored a nice 22k and diamond earring 4.9 grams.
I looked everywhere for the 2nd earring but it was not around.
Max walked right over it half an hour before me with his E-trac but his pattern was too narrow

the good ol Xterra comes through again
Oh yeah...both times I was swinging the Coiltek WOT
-thanks Trevor (Mr Coiltek) and Minelab...this coil has paid for itself 3 times over in the few months that I have had it.
I dig my share of junk but the gold makes up for the rubbish

Seasons Greetings and a Happy New Year to everybody :)

Great recoveries T59. Glad to see the 15" All Terrain working for you. Your ear ring is more proof that, even with the large diameter at 7.5 kHz, the Coiltek coil will find small gold. Congrats on some nice finds. HH Randy

Very nice finds. That Coiltek really delivers! Merry Christmas.

This is what I was also thinking.

Also an electric pinpointer is more important to have with a very large coil.

Great finds,congrat!!!

And nice pictures.

The WOT is fantastic at picking up small things. And have good balance too...
This is the coil I use the most.

Mike from the cold North....
