Would Jesus approve of all the gold and treasure coveting?

Have you ever wondered whether Jesus would be ok with Christians using gold to decorate their churches and wearing it as an adornment while there are so many people in the world in basic need of food, clean water and shelter? I think of this much. Do the Catholics use the most gold?
