Would like to hear from some of the hobbyists in Redding, CA, about the 5 gold coins found.

Please E-mail me regarding multiple (5) gold coin finds and other 'oldies' dating back to include an early Capped Bust half dollar (1809??). These finds allegedly came from a park renovation site between late October and late November of this year.
The park had a 'bowery' that was surrounded by piled-up dirt that had been there a long, long time. Knocking down the piled dirt and scraping the ground to put in a parking lot?? exposed the ground where a "small number of local detectorists" hunted one morning (the only time the site was available do to renovation work), and the result was said to be 5 gold coins, over 80 silver coins, and a few choice trade tokens.
Interested in chatting with anyone who can vouch for such a claim, or confirm that it just ain't so!
