Wow Eurotek Pro

did not really show anything. Nicely done I would add...wish mine were as well produced but I do em raw. Any detector could have found what he did so really nothing useful there. Although the VDI was stable...but again at 5" it should be.
Well like I said I am not expecting anything impressive for depth....just really taken back by that statement of high end depth without some sort of explanation. Reason being I can see people reading that and now thinking...oh yeah...Explorer depth...or F75 LTD depth etc...

From what I have seen in the videos, it looks like they made a solid stable machine for the entry/mid user at a good price. Very simple to use, but able to do very well.
Scott, that lingo about depth that they use is marketing words anyway. They would not sell machines if they said it only achieved average depth. Kind of like how they say that the lower end bounty hunter machines have "automatic ground balance" instead of saying that it is preset. Makes you feel warm inside with those technical terms :)

On a side note, Dave J. said that he had nothing to do with engineering this line at all. Also since we have not heard a whole lot from him in a bit, we can assume that he has been busy with other projects. Take that as my opinion, as I have zero info to back that up, just my observation :)

Hi Scotty, hope you are well and sorry for the delay-I just don't get to the forums as often as I would like :)
Air testing we can hit a quarter at 9" clearly and consistently any deeper you can hear the target but it starts to smear.
In ground depth depends on the dirt but it does a great job even in moderate to bad soils.

Dig deep!

Mike, do both the standard and pro get similar depth? Is the only difference between the two the options?

I love the volume adjustment.
No more jacking up the discrimination to silence most of the iron.
I would also like to have it on my F75.
Are you listening 1st Texas?

I hope to hunt an old home site tomorrow with the Eurotek Pro, report will be coming soon after.
Both the 8" concentric and 11" DD coil will be used.

I'm going to a few "Hunted out" cellars today with the 11" coil, want to see how it does around the iron. 0 discrimination for depth and 15 volume for low Iron tone. Will let you know.

I took the Eurotek Pro to one of our "hunted out" colonial cellars for a few hours until the may flys got to be too much. I got a large caliber musket ball and large flat button. Both were in heavy iron and sounded good. The button was about 7 inches down and sounded great. The recovery speed of this machine seems very fast and there was iron signals virtually every swing. I like being able to hear the iron at a much lower volume than the good targets and am going to take this machine back to all of my old hunting spots to see what it can do.

I'm excited to see more videos and read more about this machine. Mine came in yesterday and will definitely post my reviews and possibly some videos soon as this rain subsides.

Just ordered one from Barter should get it tomorrow. I have a bunch of coils for my OMega to try on it.

I wonder how it compares to the Omega in how it handles EMI?

The price and features seem like at winner to me. However, I'm not interested in one if it's another chatter box.
