..Today is in-laws 51st anniversary, and I went with my father in law to buy my mother in law some earrings for their anniversary...WELL THEN:when we got to the jewelry store, they were having some kind of "BUY 1 GET 1 FREE"sale on women's jewelry:chase:THERE WERE WOMEN PACKED IN THERE LIKE SARDINES-WALL TO WALL-NO KIDDING for that sale..SO Many women;it was humid in there -mostly school-age women-I walked in,looked around;and told my father in law"Im waitin outside:and a middle age woman looked at me and smiled;and said"I dont blame you"...:look::wacko:

you should have waited! Your father in-law could have bought something and you could have gotten the wife a free one! :)

would be the poor guy or woman who has to open the doors of a major store like Wal-mart the morning after Thanksgiving...one could get stomped in the ground by the crowd.

I once had to leave Wal-mart before it opened to the public one morning. I was litterly shoved out into the crowd who like hungry lions seemed about to devour me. You would not believe the comments made AT me, not to me. I felt like Daniel must have felt at first being tossed to the lions. Both he (Daniel) and I escaped with our lives - thank God.

You used good sense to stay away from the maddening crowd, Steve.
