Back at a different Cincinnati park. Hunted for about 2 hours. Digging all junk for more than an hour before getting my first coin, v.d.i 58, 4'' down out comes a 1929 Buffalo, i was pretty pumped so i started working around where i found the nickle, i got about 6' away when i got a solid 84 v.d.i about 5'' down, could not believe what i saw, my first 1800's silver. 1876 seated dime. Also found this bullit, it looks like a 2 ringer from the war, it's made out of lead. Can anybody i.d this bullit. Can't wait to get out Sunday. Tom

Wow is right!! That is a great hunt

Did the VDI jump around on the nickel, or was it pretty solid? I find that I am gun shy when it comes to nickles because of so many pull tabs in our local parks. I have only found one buffalo, but that was with my last machine. I now have the Omega.

I really need to start digging more 57 through 59 hits.

I am only about an hour away from Cincinnati in Richmond, IN. We head over that way every once in a while.

I use the T-2, the v.d.i numbers are pretty solid even with the nickles. Next time you come over this way and need another digging partner send me a message. Thanks again Tom

Heh Tom, Post a pic of the bottom of the bullet and I should be able to give you an idea of if it is CW and what type. I am a Cincy hunter myself...mostly CW relics. I can tell you that there are serveral local parks known for producing CW area bullets and buttons. Bill
