wow!!!-WHAT an awesome thing to see................

As we all know,Michigan is gettin pounded,by a winter storm,right now.Marcia and I took her son to work,in her Jeep-1st time I have driven a 4-wheel drive in winter!!!Anyway,after the sun came up,we were on our way back to Marcia's house,and there is a place on the highway,where it overlooks Lake Michigan, before it curves back into the woods.It was snowing real hard,and out over the lake,the horizon faded out REAL close to shore,because of the heavy snow,falling.....AND,because of the 40 knot winds coming off the lake,you can see,and HEAR,the huge surf,coming in out of the gloom,because of the heavy snowfall.I've NEVER seen too many other things,so beautiful,and at the same time,so INTENSE.......

Lots of snow in the UP too. Beautiful after a heavy snow!! I can't imagine what lake superior looked like with all of that heavy north wind.

Most of the storm either went north or south of GR. We received a light dusting but that's about it.
