I just don't know what to think. What a week. The state registered nurse aid class is a go....got word on Wednesday about that. The class is supposed to start Mid-March. Have an interview with the local hospital Monday-job consists of 2-12's 7a-7p. Would be home with my family five days a week and the pay is amazing. Just as much as I would earn for what I'm going to school for. I would be a monitor tech/unit secretary in ICU. Have another interview next Monday with a local extension office. Job is an administrative assistant to the three local extension agents. Good pay, very close to home and good hours. I could drop Loren off at school every morning and she wouldn't have to ride the bus. The position is full time. I pray that GOD continues to give me insight on what's best for my family. It just blows my mind that all these blessing are coming at once.

God promised, that for those who love & honor Him, He would fill their cup to over flowing and that's what He has done for you my friend. Praise God! and choose wisely.

Hi Liz, I am so happy for you and I pray God will open wide the door of the job that is just right for you and give you favor with the right pay and for helping your family and be with them as much as possible! God is awesome and He is the One Who works all things out for your good and for His purpose, because you love Jesus! Keep the faith for He is with you and will guide your footsteps! Amen! Ma Betty

Happy for you Liz! Which one had you rather do????

Lisa

I will pray that the Lord blesses you with the one that best fits your family!

Lisa-I think I would rather have the hospital job. It will be a lot to learn plus plenty of responsibility, but.....I think it will be challenging in a good way and would provide lots of opportunities. I would have to get my BLS certification and take a basic arrythmia course. Cardiac does freak me out a bit as it was my hardest unit in my anatomy classes, but shouldn't be that bad. We'll just have to see. I have mixed thoughts on it all. It's scary, but I have to do something better than what I'm doing now. My family deserves more...I work every Saturday all day. We've never been able to enjoy weekends, Travis and I only have Sundays to be together. It just stinks. Plus, I think my hubby is about fed up.

Well, thought I would update....Didn't get either job. Hmph. I can honestly say I am okay with it....not sure what GOD has planned, but it's okay. Just really feeling a peace about it all. Thanks to all for the prayers. Just gonna keep on keepin' on for now and see what happens.

Hi Liz; CONGRATULATIONS. No Need to think on this one. GO FOR IT. !!!!!! That is a true God send. I'm thrilled for you. You deserve it. I'll pray everything works perfectly for you. I'm job hunting myself. The VA has agreed to sponsor me to go back to school as well for Computers;. AutoCad. I can hardly wait. May God bless you and yours richly. PEACE:RONB :clapping:

Better to have a good attitude about not getting either job than to be angry, for anger brings stress and wrinkles and sometimes grey or white hair and you are too young for any of them! ;) God's plan for you and your family will be the best, so wait upon the Lord and He will renew your strength and the faith you need to be interviewed and finding a job that is just right for you! At this time you have Travis and Loren to be with more and to take care of and there is nothing better than to be with your children while they are growing up! I missed my first two because of working out of the home, but was with Tami, my baby girl, and we are still close after some rough teenage years! From 13 to 25, they don't know much but think they know everything and more than mom and dad! :heh: But in time they grow up and have families of their own, so enjoy Loren and home-life while you can!

Thanks for the encouragement, Ma. I do feel pretty strongly that maybe I just need to stay home. I have been crunching numbers and paying off a few bills and we can probably manage if we are careful...we'll just have to see.

You are welcome Liz! Just lean on and trust in Jesus and ask Him when you need godly wisdom to know what to do, as He helps me to help myself as much as possible, but when I do truly need His help He is there! Praise God, Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for the mercy, grace and wisdom that is given to me for serving as a Child of Yours, helping myself and others! Amen! Ma Betty
