I'm looking for a digger that's meant for recovering targets in the 7 to 15" range. I do NOT want to use a military style fox hole shovel or any other digger with a handle on it like a shover for that matter. I need something more "friendly" looking that is less likely to get me kicked out of a site but can still dig deep holes. I already have probably the most popular digger on the market. I forget the name but it's got a black handle, small serated edge for cutting through roots, and a sort'a half moon shaped blade that is roughly 7" long. I'm find it's not long enough for the deeper targets I've been digging lately. I like to keep my plugs say no bigger around than a soup can's lid so I need something longer that will allow me to go deeper without the need to widen the hole too much. I'd prefer a digger with a holster but will get one seperately if needed.
I'm also in the market for a sand scoop with handle. I only have fresh water beaches around me but I haven't hit those in years so I'd like to start doing that more mixed in with my normal landing hunting. I'm tall at 6'2" so I guess I'd want something with a long enough handle on it that I don't need to get down on the ground to scoop with. I'll mostly be hunting the dry sand but also hitting the water maybe knee deep with it.
If anybody has either of the above items shoot me a PM with a price. I don't really care how good they look so long as they aren't broken but the price must be right.
