Hi folks,

Looking to buy a CZ. Will consider many models but mostly interested in the "splash-proof" ones as I want to do some shallow surf hunting.

If you've got one in good working shape, that is well tuned, let me know!

Thanks,
Tony

$1.00 in silver coins any combination. Or best offer. Thanks.

Got a cz3d in great shape ....How much would you offer?...........Great machine and deep!!!!

Well I'm assuming that a nice CZ3D is going to be out of my price range. I have set my budget max at $350. I have watched a lot of 6A and 7As sell for that over the past few months. Now I can't see, to find one.

UPDATE: Just bought a 6A for $300. Now time to look for some extra coils! Thanks to everyone that tried to hook me up with a CZ! I'll be seeing all of you around this forum I imagine.

I have a CZ 6A with a relatively new 8" coil (standard) and a 10 1/2 " and 5" coils. The 8" & 10 1/2" coils have coil covers, the 5" does not need one. There is also an extra lower shaft. I find silver deeper with this machine than my DFX and several other "Silver Magnets". The 8" coil might be all you need; however the 10 1/2" will go at least another 2". The 5" coil is one of my favorites because you look in between all the trash and find the gold. I purchased it specifically to find someones wedding ring with a one carat diamond. It was lost in an area that was hopeless to hunt with the 8" coil because of the pull tabs and other trash. I paid $110.00 plus postage for that coil and found her ring for a $200.00 reward. One of the best features for me is that when it starts to rain you do not need to put on some silly little rain coat on your detector. Also being analog, when you want to change something, just turn a knob. You do not need to remember where that is in some menu, down seven layers.
I sent it back to Fisher when it started acting up. Turns out I needed a new 8" coil. They re-calibrated the machine for the new coil. I will sell all for $485.00, shipped free to the USA. The best way to contact me is by phone:(707)284-375 or email: higbees2000@yahoo.com.
