General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

WTB minelab excalibur knobs and charging adapter

Pulling the machine out of the closet this year I have two broken knobs. Can't find the ikelite charging adapter either. It is an original excalibur.

If anyone knows where I can get either of these that would rock. Thanks
 
You can get the knobs on ebay.
The charging adaptor is an Ikelite connector- male plug part number 4101.
You can probably order it thru a local dive shop. About $40 to $50.

Tried to send you a message, but for some reason it said inelgible receipent. Just make a trip to radio shack and get 1/4" guitar knobs. Then go to you local hardware store and replace those brass standard set screwswith SS. Why, because brass/copper will react to other metals in the knobs and stem. I changed all mine out on 4 Xcals. ML will tell you to stick with the factory ones because they break rather that breaking the switchs. Truth is..... they break because they are junk and they are so small/tight that you cant feel when they reach the end of their travel. A bit larger ones move smoother and allow you to FEEL the stop. I broke off a ton of those before replacing them..... and i might add, a few switches..... ive not had the same problem since. Also..... if you notice setting like sensitivity are different between machines, its not that one is necessarily HOTTER, it can be because of where the persons knobs are positioned when they were put on. Ikelite might sell that adaptor..... give them a call. Its got to be cheaper than $75 that ML or freebay wants.

PLease share any info on that adaptor.....I need to find the same male adaptor to make a set of headphones for my Sea Hunter (uses the same Ikelite plug as the old Excals)
