General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

WTT: As-New Explorer Se Pro (Under Warranty) and New Pro Pointer for E-Trac

I have a mint condition Explorer Se Pro that I am looking to trade for a used E-Trac. I already have an E-Trac and have learned it very well. I have the Se Pro as my backup machine and it doesn't seem to make sense to have a different machine as my backup so I am looking to find a used E-trac to use as my backup. I can provide pics of the machine to anyone interested. My Se Pro is mint condition with less than 10 hours of use on it because I really just have it in case my E-Trac acts up or if I want to bring a friend on a hunt with me. It comes with everything that came with it. I would alternatively sell my Se Pro for the right offer as it is basically new but I would rather trade. The Se Pro also comes with a new Garrett Pro Pointer that is mounted to the detector. Thanks and HH -Marc

PS Your E-Trac doesn't need to be in any particular condition. It just needs to work as I will keep it in my arsenal as a backup machine. I don't care about nicks/scratches etc.
 
How old is your machine? Man, nice deal. Im just waiting for my new-to-me SE to come in the mail anytime now. Good luck with your deal!! Free bump..
 
I got my machine last year. I basically unboxed it, tried it out and made sure it worked. Since then it has sat around waiting for the day that my E-Trac fails on me and it was used a couple of times by my best friend when he came hunting with me. I am sure you will love your new-to-you SE. I have done tests in my test-garden and there has not been a single thing that the Se couldn't pick up that my ET could. The few times that my friend has come on hunts with me, we both came out equal. I am sure the Se Pro is just as good as the ET but I have gotten so used to my ET that learning the Se seems counterproductive in the long run. If a trade doesn't happen, I am happy to keep it and will learn it, but I don't see the point in a backup machine that is different. I am planning on using the ET for the coming years and just need a backup for it that makes sense. Don't know what I was thinking buying a different backup machine in the first place, doesn't make nearly as much sense to me now as it did when I bought it. If nobody wants to trade, I will end up learning it and keep it as my backup as it seems just as good and was close to the same price anyway. I wish you many great finds with your new machine and I thank you for your post. HH -Marc

Alright, final try at making this trade happen. I am also willing to trade for your E-Trac and will let you keep your coil. You can keep it or sell it to someone else and make the deal even better for yourself. I just need the unit and can put on one of my other coils. Any takers yet on this deal? This is my final offer and I think it is a more than reasonable trade
