General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.

I would like to make a straight trade. My Garrett GTP 1350 for your Whites DFX. My 1350 is LIKE NEW and comes with 4 coils. (stock elliptical mono, 4 inch mono, 12 inch mono, 14 inch DD) In my hot ground test garden this GTP hits targets as deep as my Fisher CZ70 PRO and Garrett ATPro!:crazy: With the stock coil this GTP hits a buried clad quarter 11-12 inches loud and clear! It has auto ground balance/tracking, target size profiling and salt elimination option for the beach! It is well made, well balanced, powerful, loves coins and is easy to master/use- I really do like it!

So why the trade? As a water hunter I have decided to try some land hunting and am in search of 1 land detector that fits my likes and style of hunting. That's why I'm trying different machines and have a bug now to try a DFX. I could buy a DFX on the used market, but I might as well try trading for 1 first. I stand behind my GTP 1350 as described. My Big Auction site Feedback is 100% and I do as I say.

As for the DFX, I'm not too picky and do not mind some scratches. Used is OK, but not abused. Your DFX must work perfectly and have a clear display. I may later regret letting my detector go, but this is the only way for me to find out which machine is right for me. If interested reply to this post or send me a PM. Describe your DFX. I don't like Garett, I have a like new DFX, with three battery packs, one rechargeable, and three coils, and charger and carring case, but I'm looking for a water machine. Good luck. Mine is woth more than twice what the Garett sells for new. Good luck with a trade. Grubstake
 
Say Grubstake... no need to Bash Garrett. Have you ever used a 1350? I think you would really be surprised how deep my 1350 GTP goes! I know because I tested it side by side with several other machines- Excalibur, Explorer, Sovereign, CZ70, ATP, Infinium. My ground is tough and the 1350 with stock mono coil hits as hard as any! It goes as deep as my 12X10 SEF Excalibur. The 1350 is so easy to use, has most adjustments needed, is well made and balanced, has tone ID, easy to read display, pretty fast recovery, has target size profiling, a back light and is a Great coin machine! All that performance without any complected adjustments! If I kept the 1350 I would get the new 8.5X11 DD Garrett coil for it. I think that would be a deadly combo for a general land hunter!

I'm looking for a specific treasure/type and want to Experiment with some DFX settings. How much for your DFX? What coils do you have? SH34.
 
I want $1000.00 for it, it has 950 round coil,shoot dd elipitical and the Ecilpe dd elipitical, three battery packs, two forregular batteries, one rechargeable, with charger, instructons, and a Whites padded carry bag. Grubstake
 
Grubbstake, Why so much? Thanks but I'll have to pass. They sell for $399 to $650 used on the Big EB Auction site. Check it out. Even the 300s go for way under a Grand. Your machine might be special, but right now I do not need all them coils. Thanks for your help- Good luck selling yours! SH34.
 
Can't say much for the Garrett line of detectors.The ones I've owned had no depth to speak of.They do make a pretty nice pointer tho.
